Historic Thousands on Jones Street (HKonJ) is an annual civil & equal rights march and rally for justice on a variety of issues in NC. It's the largest gathering of progressive groups in NC each year.
More than ten thousand individuals and activists from across the state and nation are expected to come to Raleigh for this Saturday Feb 8th 2014 event that is sure to be covered in social & traditional media.
Commit to helping increase LGBT visibility and solidarity with other social justice movements by bringing a rainbow flag or pro-equality sign if you're an individual, a banner for your LGBT organization if you belong to a group like a PFLAG or student LGBT group, and to spreading the word about the importance of LGBT visibility by inviting others to attend this event.
