Sleazy is right

You'll like FLEX if you're into bears and bearded types. There is a urinal on the main room wall filled with peanuts. Go figure.

fun for everyone

in the basement and somewhat "trashy," as several have noted here. $5 "membership"/cover charge. went on a thursday night. great crowd from about 20 up. one knock-out, good-looking, friendly bar tender! a number of str8 students there, too - couples and singles. very friendly crowd ... but the music, so fuckin' LOUD! what's up with this bullshit, anyway!? not into drag shows, but they had some kind of drag show competition that night which was pretty pathetic, but that sort of made it fun for everyone. seems like a good time was had by all.

Trashy but fun and nice crowd ...

We went here on Thursday night the 22nd at the suggestion of several we met a The Borough. This particular night was the annual Miss Trailer Trash pageant ... and trashy, it was, too. Not into drag shows as a rule, but the crowd was great, from 18 up ... and somewhat mixed: a number of straight, college couples and singles, as well from the local colleges: UNC, Duke and NCS. We found a lot of the people to be really friendly and sociable ... well, as sociable as you can be with the "music" blaring at an ear-shattering level. (Don't know why gay bars feel it necessary to play music so fucking loud!!) Know nothing about a urinal with peanuts, but there was one shirtless bear there strutting around like the rooster in the a house ... most of the hens not noticing, I might add. [grinning] Nearby were the clubs, Legends and CC (Capital Coral) which we didn't go to. All three of these clubs have a cover charge that ranges from $5 to $7. Apparently, it was goth night at Legends that night.

Total sleez ball dirty place

Never have i seen a club that actually promotes being completely trashy like this one. Never visit this sleezy basement bar on a Saturday night.

Fun time, but needs a makeover

Like most Southern bars, you're inside 5 minutes and you think it's 1990. Same old nasty decor, bad old-school music (Vogue in 2009?? Really), and semi-friendly local staff. They do have pool tables and some nice hard to find beers. But the best thing is the MEN. Good god almighty the night we went was UNBELIEVABLE. Highly recommended, just don't touch anything.
