Food Drive Benefit for The Shepherd's Table Soup Kitchen

Where can you go to see Cirque De Vol performers, live music, a drag show and dance the night away with a live DJ on a Wednesday night?

FLEX is throwing a benefit and food drive for The Shepherd's Table Soup Kitchen!!! The Shepherd's Table feeds over 320 of Raleigh's homeless a healthy lunch DAILY, but they are having a shortage of fruits and vegetables to provide these meals with.

Doors open at 8 pm and your admission is a non-perishable food item (equal to 6 standard cans of veggies) for the drive or a cash donation of $5.00. A list of needed items will be provided at the end of this invitation.

Entertainment Schedule:
9 pm- Live Motown music by Isaac Lee
10 pm- SHOWTIME!!! Comedy, Circus Performers and Drag Performers make your night awesome!
11ish- DJ Eddie Douche' makes the dance floor happen!

Donations will be accepted throughout the entire night, open until close. Checks can be made out to The Shepherd's Table Soup Kitchen. 100% of your donations are going to the kitchen, so feel good about that!

Needed Items:
*#10 cans of vegetables or fruit (these are the really large cans, typically on the bottom shelf of the grocery store) or the equivalent (you're smart people, you can do this). Canned tomatoes, mixed vegetables and collards are often used.
*Large containers of pasta sauce
*Large bags of noodles or rice
*Bags of long lasting fresh food items (ex. onions, apples, potatoes, sweet potatoes, oranges, cabbage).
